Duration of course

Two year Level 3 qualifications, however if a third year is necessary this will be looked at on a student by student basis. Support is given by the Sixth form team and the Post 16 SEND assistant.

SEND Students are continually reviewed and monitored. Budehaven always attempts to place all students on the most appropriate route. EHCP students are closely monitored by the Post 16 SEND Support Assistant.

5 GCSE’s at grade 5 and above including English and/or Maths

Grade 6 in the subjects you wish to study at A Level (if offered at GCSE)

Grade 7 in Mathematics if you wish to study further Mathematics A Level.

BTec/ Camb.Tech
5 GCSE’S at grade 4 and above including English and/or Maths

 

You need to be aware that if you do not achieve grade 5 and above in GCSE’s you will not be permitted to follow a programme of 3 A Levels.

If you wish to select a mixed programme of A Level and BTEC subjects you will need to meet individual subject entry requirements.
